Ion Marin
Ion Marin has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and has been a yoga teacher for over 20 years. When he was 18 he discovered yoga in a book and started practicing some of the body postures (asanas) and controlled breathing procedures (pranayama) described there. In his 20s, he became a student of MISA School of Yoga, in order to pursue and deepen this spiritual path.
Through the practice of yoga he has been able to heal several ailments. At the same time, he began to study Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine, also known as ‘the science of life’), and over the years has won several prizes and mentions in various competitions, both in yoga and Ayurveda.
At the age of 30 he became a yoga teacher and shortly afterwards an Ayurveda lecturer at A.M.N. Romania. In the meantime, at the age of 27, he also made his first contact with Kashmiri Shaivism.
His spiritual practice led him to acquire the ability to transform his inner states at will, starting from a lower level, to higher and higher, even ecstatic levels.
He is now seeking to discover the links between the discoveries of various modern scientific branches and the revelations that have been made over the ages by certain authentic spiritual paths, of which Yoga and Ayurveda occupy a central place.
